What My Easy Therapy is, and is not

My Easy Therapy is a wellbeing platform that provides emotional regulation tools, reflective exercises, educational content, and AI-assisted support through Iris.

My Easy Therapy is not a substitute for medical advice, psychotherapy, counselling, diagnosis, or crisis support. Using the platform does not create a therapist-client relationship between you and us or our team.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or feel unsafe, please contact emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately. In the UK: Samaritans 116 123 or 999. In the US: 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline or 911.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use My Easy Therapy. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform complies with any laws applicable to you in your location.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Please notify us immediately at support@myeasytherapy.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Membership and billing

Access to most features requires an active paid membership. Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

You may cancel your membership at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until then.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment details.

New memberships are covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. If My Easy Therapy is not right for you, email support@myeasytherapy.com within 14 days of your first membership payment for a full refund of that payment. Membership access ends when the refund is made. The guarantee applies to your first membership payment, not to renewal payments.

One-time shop purchases are covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee. To request a refund, email support@myeasytherapy.com within 7 days of purchase. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection law. If you have a billing concern, contact us at support@myeasytherapy.com.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use My Easy Therapy in any way that:

• violates any applicable law or regulation

• harms, threatens, or harasses other users

• attempts to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data

• reverse-engineers, scrapes, or reproduces the platform or its content without permission

• misrepresents your identity or affiliation

Iris: our AI assistant

Iris is an AI assistant designed to support reflection and emotional regulation. She is not a therapist, counsellor, or clinical professional.

Iris responses are generated by an AI model and may not always be accurate or appropriate for your situation. Do not rely on Iris for medical, legal, or crisis advice.

We monitor AI outputs for quality and safety, but we cannot guarantee that every response will be perfectly suited to your circumstances.

Intellectual property

All content on My Easy Therapy (including text, audio, video, graphics, and tools) is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property law.

Your membership grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own private wellbeing purposes. You may not share, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of the platform.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

My Easy Therapy is provided "as is". We make no guarantees that it will meet your specific needs or be free from errors or interruptions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from your use of the platform.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes to the service and these terms

We may update features, content, or pricing from time to time. Where changes are material, we will give you reasonable notice.

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.

If you are based in another jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under your local consumer protection laws that these terms do not override.
